Our Background

I'm Dave — a photographer, videographer and content creator based between London and Bristol, working with independent hospitality businesses across the UK and beyond.

With over five years behind the lens, I've spent my career doing what I love most: stepping into kitchens, dining rooms, cellar bars and sun-lit terraces, and finding the stories that make a place worth visiting. The chef who sources everything within ten miles. The pub that's been pouring the same local ale for forty years. The farm that rears, grows and serves everything on its own land, end to end. Those stories exist everywhere in independent hospitality - they just need the right eye to bring them out.

Done By Dave was built on a simple belief: independent hospitality businesses have as much soul and substance as anyone in the industry — they just don't always have the visuals to prove it. Whether it's a set of stills for a new menu launch, a social forward content that captures the atmosphere of your space, or a full content package built around your brand, I work to give your business imagery that's honest, compelling and genuinely yours.

I shoot both stills and video, and I'm just as comfortable being handed a brief and running with it as I am working closely with you to shape something from scratch. Alongside hospitality, I work with a range of clients — from producers and makers to brands and creatives — who share the same commitment to doing things properly.

Based in London and Bristol, I travel for the right project — UK-wide and internationally.
